This Privacy Policy applies to the Seated mobile application (“Seated”, “the App”) and the website at seated.arktik.tech (the “Site”), operated by Arktik (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact: contact@arktik.tech.
1. Summary
- Guest names, tables, seating rules, event details and seating plans are stored on your device. We do not operate a backend that receives your guest list.
- Optional account sign-in (Apple, Google, or email) is provided via our authentication provider (Supabase). That account stores an id and email (or Apple private relay) — not your guest list.
- We do not sell personal information and we do not use your guest data for advertising.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Purchase validation may use Apple and, when enabled, a purchase framework such as RevenueCat with a purchase identifier (your account identifier when you are signed in) — not your guest list.
- You can sign out or delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes the login; seating data on the device is cleared when you delete the account from the app.
2. Information stored on your device
When you use Seated, the App stores information you enter locally on your device, including:
- Guest names and related notes
- Tables and capacities
- Seating rules (together / apart) and pins
- Event name and venue text used on printed documents
- App preferences (for example haptics)
- Whether documents have been unlocked via purchase (local entitlement state)
This information remains on your device unless you choose to export or share documents yourself (for example by printing or using the system share sheet). Deleting the App, or using the in-app “delete everything” control, removes the local data subject to how your device OS handles app storage.
3. Accounts and authentication
Creating an account is optional. You may continue without signing in. If you sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password, we process account data through our authentication provider, Supabase (supabase.com/privacy), including:
- Account identifier
- Email address (or Apple’s private email relay, when used)
- Sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email)
- Authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in
Apple and Google may also process data under their own policies when you use their sign-in buttons. We do not receive your guest list as part of sign-in.
You can sign out at any time in Settings. You can delete your account in Settings; that removes the login and clears seating data stored on that device. If automatic deletion cannot complete, the App sends us a deletion request containing your account identifier, email address and sign-in provider through the form service Web3Forms (web3forms.com/privacy), and we process it by hand. You can also email contact@arktik.tech and we will process the request.
4. Information we do not collect through the App
Seated is designed so that we do not collect:
- Your guest list or seating plan on our servers
- Contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera access
- Advertising identifiers for tracking across apps and websites
- Analytics profiles of how you arrange guests
The App does not request contacts, photos, location or similar permissions for guest entry. Guest names are typed onto chairs in Hall.
5. Purchases and receipts
Unlocking printable documents is an optional in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple’s privacy practices apply to payment data; we do not receive your full payment card details.
To unlock features and restore purchases, the App may communicate with Apple and with a purchase entitlement service (such as RevenueCat) using purchase tokens and an app user identifier: your account identifier when you are signed in, otherwise an anonymous identifier generated for this install. That communication is for purchase status only. It is not used to upload your guest list.

6. Website
The Site is a static informational site (product overview, support, privacy and terms). Standard web server or hosting logs may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages, solely for operating and securing the Site. We do not use the Site to collect guest lists.
The Site uses Sentry (sentry.io/privacy) to report errors in its own pages. When a page fails, an error report with technical details such as the page address, browser type and IP address may be sent to Sentry so we can fix it. The Site sets no advertising cookies, loads no advertising or analytics trackers, and serves its fonts from its own domain.
If you email us at contact@arktik.tech, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message so we can reply.
7. Children
Seated is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
8. Data retention
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, delete your account from Settings, or remove the App. Account records held by our authentication provider are retained while your account exists and are removed when the account is deleted (subject to short technical backup windows). Emails you send to us are retained as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.
9. International users
Seated may be used internationally. Guest seating data stays on device. Account authentication and purchase processing may involve providers located outside your country (including Supabase, Apple, Google, and, when enabled, RevenueCat), under their respective policies.
10. Your choices
- You can use planning features without creating an account.
- You can use planning features without purchasing documents.
- You can sign out or delete your account in Settings.
- You can delete local data in the App or by uninstalling.
- You can manage App Store purchases in your Apple ID settings. Seated’s document unlock is sold as a one-time non-consumable purchase, not a subscription.

11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App or Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
